born in 1850, CC Filson pioneering spirit inherited from his father and love of nature. After settlement in Nebraska and roaming the country as a railroad conductor, he moved to the small town of Seattle, Washington in the 1890s. It was here during the Gold Rush of the 1890s, where CC Filson would start his business and his legacy.
